Join the Pico Rivera Library Book Club as they discuss The Mystery Guest by Nita Prose, the second book in the Molly the Maid series. For adults.

Molly Gray has risen through the ranks of the glorious five-star Regency Grand Hotel to become the esteemed Head Maid. But just as her life reaches a state of perfection, her world is turned upside down when J. D. Grimthorpe, the world-renowned mystery author, drops dead on the hotel’s tearoom floor. With the entire hotel under investigation, Molly must solve the mystery posthaste.

About the branch

Founded in 1917, the new 16,000 square foot library was dedicated on December 14, 2013. It replaced the old 7,700 square foot circular library constructed in 1961. Funding for the new LEED rated library was provided by the City of Pico Rivera and Supervisorial District 1.

It is the larger of the two libraries serving the city and provides support services for two smaller libraries in the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County.
