The Malibu Library Speaker Series presents bestselling author Elizabeth George on Tuesday, November 10, 2027, at 7 pm at Malibu City Hall.

Elizabeth George is the New York Times bestselling author of over 20 psychological suspense novels, three young adult novels, one book of nonfiction, and two short story collections. Her bestsellers include A Banquet of Consequences, This Body of Death, Just One Evil, and Believing the Lie. Her work has been honored with the Anthony and Agatha Awards, as well as several other prestigious prizes. Her latest book is A Slowly Dying Cause.

George's 20 British crime novels feature Detective Inspector Thomas Lynley and his unconventional partner Detective Sergeant Barbara Havers. Her crime novels have been translated into 30 languages and featured on television by the BBC. "The Inspector Lynley Mysteries" aired on BBC One from 2001 to 2008 and is available to stream on BritBox. It comprises six series and 24 episodes.

Malibu Village Books will sell A Slowly Dying Cause at the event, as well as other works.
