LA County Department of Public Health is partnering with LA County Library to provide free COVID-19 vaccines to people 5 and over, no health insurance required.

COVID-19 Vaccine Information

  • Vaccines are available for everyone age 5 and over.
  • For those receiving a first dose, follow up appointments for a second dose will be scheduled.
  • The COVID-19 vaccine is free.
  • Walk-ups welcome at all clinics.
  • Appointments available on myturn.ca.gov. Search by zip code.
  • You will not be asked about your immigration status when you get a vaccine.
  • According to the CDC, all 3 COVID vaccines are safe and effective. Visit the CDC website for more info.

About the branch

Live Oak Library was founded in 1917. As the business areas along Live Oak Avenue were incorporated into the city of Arcadia, the library site moved eastward until it came to its current location in 1964 in an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County.
