Let's learn about New Year's traditions and jumpstart 2023 with a musical performance by Baila Baila after a countdown. Join us for dancing and a rocking good time! For ages 2 – 10 with parent or caregiver, but fun for the whole family.

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, including kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees. 


This event is held in-person. LA County Public Health strongly encourages masks and physical distancing indoors regardless of vaccination status. Masks will continue to be available for customers upon request. Please see the Guidelines for Attendees during the registration process for more information.

About the branch

Lake Los Angeles and other rural areas in the Eastern Antelope Valley were served by a County of Los Angeles Public Library bookmobile for 20 years. A letter-writing campaign prompted the development of a permanent site to better serve the community. The library opened on May 19, 1992 with a grand opening ceremony on May 30, 1992.
