About the branch

Baldwin Park Library was founded on February 27, 1914. It has been at its present location since June 20, 1969.

The Friends of the Library was formed in 1982. This group continues to be active and gives the library volunteers and monetary support.

On April 8th there will be a solar eclipse. Learn about the solar eclipse before the 8th. Children will make their own earth, sun and moon to simulate the solar eclipse and will be given solar eclipse glasses. For ages 5 to 11 with parent/caregiver.

Why should we recycle? We will discuss the reasons why recycling is beneficial to our environment. Teens will be shown the steps to recycle old CDs. Teens will then be able to create designs and decorate CDs. For teens ages 12 - 17.
