Join us for a performance by the Topanga Actors Company of the play "Third," by the author of the famed "Heidi Chronicles," Wendy Wasserstein. "Third" is a dramatic, affecting, and humorous look at what unites and divides Americans today. For adults.

His name is Woodson Bull III but you can call him "Third." To Professor Laurie Jameson he is another member of the "walking red state." Worse, he is clearly a plagiarist and a liar. But is she right, or is she casting Third as the villain in her own struggle to come to terms with life, personal and political?

This event is held in-person. LA County Public Health strongly encourages masks and physical distancing indoors regardless of vaccination status. Masks will continue to be available for customers upon request. Please see the Guidelines for Attendees during the registration process for more information.

About the branch

The Topanga Library opened on January 21, 2012. As Al Martinez stated in his inaugural speech, "This isn't just an impressive edifice of stone and steel. It's a house of knowledge and imagination, a trip to new worlds, a journey to the mystical land of tomorrow."

The state-of-the-art library is a LEED-certified green building with a Gold rating. It has a central reading room, a children's area with a dedicated storytelling space, study rooms, and a homework center.
