Recommended for kids and teens. Parents/caregivers required for ages 9 and under. 

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, including kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees. 

This event is held in-person. LA County Public Health strongly encourages masks and physical distancing indoors regardless of vaccination status. Masks will continue to be available for customers upon request. Please see the Guidelines for Attendees during the registration process for more information.

About the branch

Baldwin Park Library was founded on February 27, 1914. It has been at its present location since June 20, 1969.

The Friends of the Library was formed in 1982. This group continues to be active and gives the library volunteers and monetary support.

The northern lights, or the Aurora Borealis, are stunning lights that can be seen in northern parts of the world. We will discuss what causes the northern lights to occur. Teens will create their own northern lights with pastel chalk. Ages 12 - 17.
