Join Melissa Cody, a fourth-generation Navajo weaver for a discussion on the history and importance of weaving in Navajo culture as well as her personal experience and creative process as an artist. The talk will be followed by a Q&A.

Melissa Cody’s intricate tapestries are often associated with the Germantown Revival, a stylistic movement named after the government wool from Germantown, Pennsylvania, which was supplied to the Navajo during the time of the Long Walk.
