Pick up a plant, share cuttings, or drop off a plant that is no longer working for you. from 1-2pm, we'll also be painting small pots to house your new plant friend. A free plant-swap event! For adults.

Those wishing to re-home their plants, starts, or cuttings can drop them off at the library starting Friday, June 16 and up until the time of the event. Available plants will be first come, first serve. 


This event is held in-person. LA County Public Health strongly encourages masks and physical distancing indoors regardless of vaccination status. Masks will continue to be available for customers upon request. Please see the Guidelines for Attendees during the registration process for more information.

About the branch

Claremont Library was founded in 1914. It has been at its current location since 1928. The present building opened on April 25, 1975. The Friends of the Claremont Public Library was founded in 1957.
