Pride Month celebrates the culture, contributions, and history of the LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer) community. Learn about American artist Keith Haring and create your own inspired artwork. For adults.

This event is held in-person. LA County Public Health strongly encourages masks and physical distancing indoors regardless of vaccination status. Masks will continue to be available for customers upon request. Please see the Guidelines for Attendees during the registration process for more information.

About the branch

The library, originally founded in 1929 as the Stephenson Library, moved into its present location in 1972 and was rededicated as El Camino Real Library in 1975. The library was rededicated again in November 2014 after a renovation and expansion that added a meeting room, teen area, and outdoor reading patio. The library is located on the historic El Camino Real.
