This summer, reserve the second Saturday of each month for a fun filled afternoon of games at Charter Oak Library! For adults and families.

We have a varied mix of nostalgic board games and the latest and the greatest.  We have games for all ages, from adults to the little ones. So, indulge your competitive streak and bring the whole family! Co-sponsored by the Friends of the West Covina Library on behalf of Charter Oak Library. Please be aware that refreshments will be served at this program. A list of ingredients will be available.

This event is held in-person. LA County Public Health strongly encourages masks and physical distancing indoors regardless of vaccination status. Masks will continue to be available for customers upon request.

About the branch

The first building was a private residence of the librarian, Mrs. W. A. Jones. In 1930, the library moved and changed its name to the Ben Lomond Library. In July 1962, the Charter Oak Library moved to 20562 Arrow Highway.

After a tragic fire which destroyed much of the library and its collection, it was relocated in 1991 to its present location in the unincorporated area near the cities of Covina and Glendora.
