La Verne Library's volunteer training for Summer Discovery Program.

La Verne Library is providing orientation for teen volunteers. We will review expectations and procedures for the 2023 Summer Discovery Program as well as choose schedules. This is a great opportunity for teens to earn hours toward their school community hours. Please join us from 6 –7 pm. 

Applications will be available, however, they can be picked up/turned in this May at the circulation desk

Volunteers must be 14 –18

About the branch

La Verne Library was originally established as the "Traveling Library" on October 1, 1914, when the Lordsburg Library Board of Trustees joined the Los Angeles County Library system. After numerous moves to ever larger facilities, the La Verne Library moved to its current location at 3640 D Street on July 29, 1985.
