Teens, we're starting up a new Teen Advisory Board! Attend our very first meeting to find out how you can make a difference at your library.

For ages 13 – 17.

Parents & Guardians: Please be aware that refreshments will be served at this program. A list of ingredients will be available.

Teen Culture Club at the American Indian Resource Center in Huntington Park Library meets monthly and is a welcoming space for teens to learn and share about cultures. Meet and collaborate with other teens, with the opportunity to earn volunteer hours and an extracurricular.

This event is held in-person. LA County Public Health strongly encourages masks and physical distancing indoors regardless of vaccination status. Masks will continue to be available for customers upon request. Please see Guidelines for Attendees during the registration process for more information.

About the branch

Proudly serving the residents of the vibrant City of Huntington Park and neighboring areas, the Huntington Park Library was founded in 1913 and originally housed in the City Hall.

As the library continued to grow, it moved to larger locations in 1924 and 1931. The present library building in the Civic Center was dedicated in 1970.

A significant sculpture designed by artist Tom Van Sant, "Flight Form," was also dedicated in 1970 and is suspended from the second floor ceiling.

An active Friends of the Library group was formed in 1996 to promote and support Library services to the community.
