This event is held in-person. LA County Public Health strongly encourages masks and physical distancing indoors regardless of vaccination status. Masks will continue to be available for customers upon request.

About the branch

The Library founded in 1940 serves the View Park-Windsor Hills residents of the unincorporated area west of the City of Los Angeles north of the City of Inglewood and southeast of the City of Culver City.

Library service was provided through a leased facility of 2,300 square feet, located at 5400 S. Harcourt Avenue at 54th Street. The library moved to its present location in 1977 and offers a full range of library services.

In honor of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we will be making our own tapa cloth out of paper bags. Tapa is a traditional fabric made from the inner bark of tree in the Pacific Islands. For ages 5 - 12.

Join others as we swap tips and strategies for plant and garden care. In this session, we invite participants to talk about what's going well in their garden and bring up problems or questions for the group to help solve. This program is for adults.
