Every form of life is made up of billions of brain cells called neurons. Let’s learn about some of the different parts of a neuron and what they do and then make a model cell! For kids ages 8-12.

This program is part of an Activity Kit created for the 2023 Summer Discovery Program. Kits are available at your local LA County Library location, while supplies last. The activity for this program may also be completed with the following materials:
- modeling clay
- chenille stick
- several large pom poms
- several large beads
- one sheet of cardstock (or other) paper
- glue
- pencil

This is a virtual event hosted on Zoom.
