Banned Books Week is October 1 - 7. Which of your favorite reads have been banned across America and why?

Learn about the banning of books like Drama by Reina Telgemeier and The Adventures of Captain Underpants by Dav Pilkey and celebrate your freedom to read by creating art inspired by banned books.

For Ages 8 and up with their parent or caregiver.

About the branch

The library was founded in 1913 and housed in the Woodcrest School. It moved to various locations in the community until the present location was opened in 1967.
