The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning from Tuesday, July 14 through Thursday, July 16. While all LA County Libraries offer a break from the heat during normal hours, many locations have been activated as Cooling Centers with extended hours.
Join us to learn about fentanyl and how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose. We’ll cover basics on opioids, overdose prevention and discuss strategies and resources to support teens and families affected by opioid abuse. For ages 13 - 17.

Los Nietos Library had its beginning shortly after World War I, in September 1919. Since its founding, the Library has offered service in five locations. A bookmobile provided library service to the community for a short time.
