The Malibu Library Speaker Series presents bestselling author Mitch Albom, discussing his new book, The Little Liar. For teens and adults.

Mitch Albom is an internationally renowned and best-selling author, journalist, screenwriter, playwright, radio and television broadcaster, and musician. His books have collectively sold more than 40 million copies worldwide; have been published in 51 territories and in 48 languages around the world; and have been made into Emmy Award-winning and critically-acclaimed television movies.

Albom has written eight No. 1 New York Times bestsellers — including Tuesdays with Morrie, the bestselling memoir of all time, which topped the list for four straight years and celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2022. He has also written award-winning TV films, stage plays, screenplays, a nationally syndicated newspaper column, and a musical.

In The Little Liar, his first novel set during the Holocaust, Albom interweaves the stories of Nico, who becomes a pathological liar, his brother Sebastian, who miraculously survives the death camps and spends years seeking revenge, their childhood schoolmate Fanni, whom both brothers love, and the Nazi officer, Udo Graf, who affected them all indelibly. As the decades pass, we witness the consequences of what they all endured, and the price they paid for their truths and lies.
