Join us for a series of four technology classes led by Phillip Newell of Seniors Tech Club. Week 1: Navigation skills & desktop tools. For older adults.

Seniors Tech Club strives to bridge the digital divide between the senior community and future generations. Laptops will be provided for use within the class. Sponsored by the Friends of the West Hollywood Library.

This is the first of a four-program series that will be held on January 31, February 7, 14, and 21. Each program date has its own event page. Please register individually for all of the dates you would like to attend.

January 31: Navigation skills & desktop tools
February 7: Organizing your file system/uploading & downloading files
February 14: Everything Google
February 21: Using email

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. This will be used to save your spot in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

This event is held in-person. LA County Public Health strongly encourages masks and physical distancing indoors regardless of vaccination status. Masks will continue to be available for customers upon request. Please see the Guidelines for Attendees during the registration process for more information.

About the branch

West Hollywood Library began service to the area (then unincorporated ) in 1913. The library was previously located at Sherman School, a cottage on Clark Street, a building on Westbourne Drive, and a building near the present site. The Library has an active Friends of the Library group.

The new library was dedicated October 1, 2011.
