Dating back from the Roman days, Valentine’s Day has become one of the most celebrated holidays for loved ones. Join us to learn more about the myths and the holiday’s origin while making a homemade gift. For ages 5 - 12 with parent or caregiver.

This event is held in-person. LA County Public Health strongly encourages masks and physical distancing indoors regardless of vaccination status. Masks will continue to be available for customers upon request. Please see the Guidelines for Attendees during the registration process for more information.

About the branch

Bell Library was established in 1913 as the 29th branch of the County of Los Angeles Public Library System. After having been relocated several times, the library was built at the present location in 1960.

Due to the rapid growth of the community, the building was expanded in 1973. It is presently serving one of the most culturally diverse communities in Los Angeles County.
