Suzanne Park is a Korean-American author who was born and raised in Tennessee. As a stand-up comedian, she appeared on BET and was also the winner of the Seattle Sierra Mist Comedy Competition and a semifinalist in NBC's "StandUp for Diversity" showcase in San Francisco. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and female offspring. Check out her books: The Do-Over, Christmas Clash, So We Meet Again, Sunny Song Will Never Be Famous, Loathe at First Sight, and the Perfect Escape.

Sabrina Sol is the chica who loves love. She writes sexy romance stories featuring strong and smart Latina heroines in search of their Happily Ever Afters. Sabrina and her books have been featured in Entertainment Weekly, Bookriot, and PopSugar, and her Delicious Desires series has made the Latina's Book Club annual Books of the Year lists. Sabrina's common themes of food, family, and love are woven into intricate plots that all connect for a powerful read that lingers in the hearts of readers. She is proud of her Mexican- American heritage, cultures, and traditions - all of which can be found in the pages of her books. Sabrina is a native of Southern California, where she currently lives with her husband, three children, and four dogs. Jayci Lee writes poignant, sexy, and laugh-out-loud romance featuring Korean American main characters. Her books have been in O, The Oprah Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Entertainment Weekly, Hollywood Reporter, E! News, and Women’s World. Jayci is retired from her fifteen-year career as a litigator because of all the badass heroines and drool worthy heroes demanding to have their stories told. Food, wine and travel are her jam. She makes her home in sunny California with her tall-dark-and-handsome husband, two amazing boys, and a fluffy rescue. About the branch

La Mirada Library was established in 1915 in a one-room schoolhouse that belonged to the Norwalk School District. It soon received supplemental service from the Los Angeles County Library.

From 1958 to 1971 the library was housed in a leased storefront in the La Mirada Business Center. The present library building was dedicated on July 1, 1971, in the La Mirada Civic Center.
