Join us for a festive holiday card workshop hosted by Theatre of Hearts!

This hands-on activity invites participants to create unique, handmade cards that celebrate the rich diversity of holidays and cultural traditions. Guided by our artist mentor, this workshop encourages creativity and inclusivity, fostering a joyful space where everyone can express their holiday spirit. All materials are provided. Suggested for children ages 5-12 with a parent or caregiver. Attendance is limited and advance registration is required. 

This program is part of the La Mirada Celebrates! series. Cultural and holiday celebrations bind families, neighborhoods, and communities together. Let's celebrate all season with food, art, dance, and song!

About the branch

La Mirada Library was established in 1915 in a one-room schoolhouse that belonged to the Norwalk School District. It soon received supplemental service from the Los Angeles County Library.

From 1958 to 1971 the library was housed in a leased storefront in the La Mirada Business Center. The present library building was dedicated on July 1, 1971, in the La Mirada Civic Center.
