This documentary highlights the intrepid, pioneering and diverse women who faced hostility and resistance in their pursuit of medical educations. Learn  how these women physicians greatly impacted their communities around the United States and internationally.

About the branch

Rivera library was founded in 1913 and has been at its present location since 1970. The library is located in a predominately Hispanic neighborhood, with heavy usage by children. Rivera is the smaller of the two libraries in the city of Pico Rivera.
