Did you know Python isn’t just a reptile, and Ruby isn’t just a precious stone? Join us for an introduction to computer programming and a short coding workshop using a laptop provided. Space is limited. For teens ages 12 - 18.

This program is funded by the County of Los Angeles Probation Department through the Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act (JJCPA). JJCPA/Probation requires the collection of data on program participants including full name, date of birth, ethnicity, gender, zip code, and signature. Guardian consent is also required to participate.

About the branch

The library was founded in 1913 and housed in the Woodcrest School. It moved to various locations in the community until the present location was opened in 1967.
