Come join us in learning all about Filipina American artist Pacita Abad. After, learn to create your own abstract mixed-media painting. For teens ages 12-18.

This program is funded by the County of Los Angeles Probation Department through the Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act (JJCPA). JJCPA/Probation requires the collection of data on program participants including full name, date of birth, ethnicity, gender, zip code, and signature. Guardian consent is also required to participate.

About the branch

The library was founded in 1913 and moved to its present location in 1962. The facility was remodeled in 1978. The Friends of the Hawthorne Libraries started in 1979. The library serves a 5.99 square mile area.
