Join us as members of the Latine poetry community in Los Angeles County gather to celebrate poet and journalist Adolfo Guzaman-Lopez’s collection, California Southern: writing from the road, 1992-2025.

Join us for a gala poetry reading in support of Hispanic Heritage and Adolfo Guzman Lopez’s California Southern: writing from the road, 1992-2025. The event is hosted by Yago Cura of Hinchas de Poesía Press and features Readings by Cynthia A. Briano, Darren J de Leon, Luivette Resto, Angelina Saenz, William Gonzalez, Brenda Vaca, Diosa Xochiquetzalcoatl, William Archilla and Douglas Manuel.

About the branch

The Chicano Resource Center (CRC) was established in 1976 to serve the information needs of the Mexican-American (Chicano) community and to make information about the history and culture of this group available to the general public. The Chicano Resource Center is located in East Los Angeles Library.
