Born in Mexico but living and working in Los Angeles since 1975, de Batuc's work is characterized by strong composition and a masterful use of color. De Batuc was an active collaborator with Self Help Graphics & Art, where he contributed to silkscreen posters and collective projects that emphasized accessible art, political consciousness, and cultural pride. This event is co-sponsored by the Mexican Cultural Institute of Los Angeles.
