The Friends of La Mirada Library will be selling a wide selection of books (children and adult), DVDs, and CDs! Credit card, cash, and checks accepted. Sale will be held at the La Mirada Activity Center, located at 13810 La Mirada Blvd.

Book Sale: 9 am - 1 pm | Bag of Books Sale ($4.00/bag): 1:30 - 3:30 pm
*FOL members pre-sale will be held Fri, Apr 24, 3:30 - 5:30 pm. Membership may be purchased at the door.

The Friends of the La Mirada Library is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit association of community-minded individuals committed to focusing public attention on the library’s services and to encouraging gifts and donations in support of the library. About the branch

La Mirada Library was established in 1915 in a one-room schoolhouse that belonged to the Norwalk School District. It soon received supplemental service from the Los Angeles County Library.

From 1958 to 1971 the library was housed in a leased storefront in the La Mirada Business Center. The present library building was dedicated on July 1, 1971, in the La Mirada Civic Center.
