This program is part of Smart Start at the Library, LA County Library's collection of programs and services for early learners ages 0 - 5 and their caregivers.
Please join us after Play & Explore for an opportunity to chat with a representative from the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles and learn about resources for early learning readiness .

About the branch

The library, originally founded in 1929 as the Stephenson Library, moved into its present location in 1972 and was rededicated as El Camino Real Library in 1975. The library was rededicated again in November 2014 after a renovation and expansion that added a meeting room, teen area, and outdoor reading patio. The library is located on the historic El Camino Real.
