Become an engineer by designing, building, and testing a mini car. Join WOW That's STEM! as they present a workshop exploring the steps of the engineering process and the science behind magnets. For Ages 5 – 12 with parent or caregiver.

You will apply what you've learned to create your own mini moving magnetic force car!

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, including kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

About the branch

The first building was a private residence of the librarian, Mrs. W. A. Jones. In 1930, the library moved and changed its name to the Ben Lomond Library. In July 1962, the Charter Oak Library moved to 20562 Arrow Highway.

After a tragic fire which destroyed much of the library and its collection, it was relocated in 1991 to its present location in the unincorporated area near the cities of Covina and Glendora.
