During this MākMō visit, we will be learning the basics of how to thread a sewing machine and how to sew a simple project.

You can combine creativity and sustainability while learning to sew a tote bag that can be used to collect Halloween candy (or light groceries) year after year.

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

About the branch

La Verne Library was originally established as the "Traveling Library" on October 1, 1914, when the Lordsburg Library Board of Trustees joined the Los Angeles County Library system. After numerous moves to ever larger facilities, the La Verne Library moved to its current location at 3640 D Street on July 29, 1985.
