Making art helps us our with physical, emotional and mental health. Join us as we relax together and express our creativity by completing an art project. 


This event is held in-person. LA County Public Health strongly encourages masks and physical distancing indoors regardless of vaccination status. Masks will continue to be available for customers upon request.

About the branch

The first Westlake Village Daniel K. Ludwig Library was dedicated on March 27, 1993. The library operates under a joint agreement between the City of Westlake Village and the County of Los Angeles Public Library.

The library was named after Westlake Village developer and visionary, Daniel K. Ludwig. The library moved to a brand new and larger facility on February 5, 2002.

Little artists can create unique art while exploring early learning skills. A representative from Public Health will be available to answers questions about Oral Health. For ages 2 - 5 and their caregivers.

Making art is good for your brain and helps lower stress! To celebrate the season, we will be painting adorable watercolor butterflies. For adults.
