Environmental Literacy: Nocturnal Animals

We're building environmental literacy for Earth Day and learning about the interconnectedness between humans and nature. Come learn about nocturnal animals and build your own mini-habitat for either a fox, pangolin or sugar glider. For ages 5-12.

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, including kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

About the branch

Rivera library was founded in 1913 and has been at its present location since 1970. The library is located in a predominately Hispanic neighborhood, with heavy usage by children. Rivera is the smaller of the two libraries in the city of Pico Rivera.
