Voice your opinions and make suggestions for new programs & services, while working with teens who share your interest in the library, & helping the community. After the meeting, have some fun painting watercolors of your own design. For ages 13-17.

Paper, paints and brush will be provided.

Community service hours are available for eligible teens.

Please be aware that refreshments will be served at this program. A list of ingredients will be available.

Refreshments are sponsored by the Friends of the Hawthorne and Wiseburn Libraries.

About the branch

The library was founded in 1913 and moved to its present location in 1962. The facility was remodeled in 1978. The Friends of the Hawthorne Libraries started in 1979. The library serves a 5.99 square mile area.
